The Into Yellowstone trip was fabulous! Amy is a great instructor. She was always willing to help whether it be with composition and camera settings or with editing. The scenery was amazing. Yellowstone National Park in the winter is just beautiful. It is a unique experience and I would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

Attending this women's photography workshop was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish.  Our instructor Amy was truly fabulous - knowledgeable, patient, and generous with her instruction. She created a supportive learning environment that made it easy to ask questions and grow as a photographer.
The group of women who joined the workshop were equally fantastic-encouraging, fun and inspiring to spend time with and shoot alongside.  And, Yellowstone in the winter? It is beyond anything you can imagine and something every photographer should experience at least once.  This workshop is a must do, and I would sign up again in a heartbeat!

It was an amazing trip! Well organized and Amy was an amazing guide for this adventure!

It was a wonderful experience. Amy did a fabulous job of designing the adventure and the planets aligned to bring together a talented, kind group of women.  I would highly recommend this trip to anyone seeking unique beauty and experiences. 

This was my first Into the Wild tours. It was a fun group of amazing women photographers. Lori was a wonderful leader. She took us to some of the most picturesque spots in the area and planned a great itinerary. We had time to explore and customize our shots. Lori also gave us instructions on some creative shooting ideas and showed us spots that highlighted our fall journey photos. I also loved that we took time for lunch a few days to get to know each other and wine in the lobby of the hotel in the evening. I will definitely do another Into the Wild tour and highly recommend Lori.

Into the Wild West Go Ricketts Glen was a phenomenal experience. Our excellent, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly instructor treated attendees with respect and courtesy and provided individual attention as well as general instruction. 

We had a great group of attendees who shared ideas and were respectful of others efforts. 

I learned a lot and enjoyed the whole experience.

Wonderful trip!  Loved the group of photographers!  And the history and the landscape were amazing!

I was hesitant to book this workshop because, even after having a camera for years, l consider myself a beginner and never understood how to use the manual settings. However, everything about the workshop exceeded my expectations. Prior to the workshop, Danielle provided a list of recommended gear and helped me figure out what would work for my camera. In addition to helping with lenses and filters, she gave suggestions for tripods and backpacks. 

During the workshop, Danielle helped each of us individually since we all had different camera models. She gave great instruction on how to use the manual settings, different shooting techniques and determining what filters to use. We had plenty of opportunity to try out what we learned during the hikes and she was always available when we had questions. In the evening, there was time to learn about retouching in Lightroom.

The size of the group was perfect - both for getting individual instruction and for keeping together during the hikes. Besides learning from Danielle, we were fortunate to have an awesome group of women who were always willing to help out each other when needed. 

For me, this was an invaluable experience and I’m so glad I decided to go. I have more to learn but I’m more comfortable with my camera and have the confidence to experiment!

I thought the trip was great start to finish. I loved the cabins we stayed in. The nearby town was lovely. Weather was great. The waterfalls were amazing and fun to photograph. The best part of the workshop was Danielle. She had boundless energy, was a delight to be with, and by far the best workshop instructor I've ever experienced. She was generous with her assistance -I learned so much from her and would not hesitate to take another workshop from her.

It was a delight to experience a real fall! Beth has an obvious love for her home state and it is stunning in this season. We even had a chance to experience Minnesota traditions of picking rocks and tater tot hot dish. The lodge is a cozy retreat that makes it feel like a family atmosphere. It’s a lovely setting and definitely fills all the boxes for fall photos and waterfalls in your portfolio, with enough downtime to feel like a vacation. Even on my second trip with IWWG there was still a lot to learn. Looking forward to the next!

Another great trip - 

Minnesota fall color is nothing compared to that in New England - but I love that Beth took us to the scenic places at sunrise/sunset to get the best pictures of the region possible.  

Staying all together in the AirB&B was fun!  

More motivated than ever to continue working on and practicing this hobby of photography 

Great one day trip! Very supportive instructor and a great group of people to enjoy the day with. Learned some new techniques and really enjoyed the day and locations.

Banning Waterfall Workshop

I LOVED this workshop!! Sarah brings such an artistic eye to the process and encourages our own creativity.  I personally have more difficulty with composition and Sarah helped me immensely, focusing on the story and helping me get a handle on what to look for.  She did a walking tour pointing out things she saw that were interesting and it was sooo helpful.  I also appreciate her honesty - when the photo was not great, she didn't tell me it was.  Rather, she helped me make it better, explaining what to look for and helping me with camera settings to assist.  I took this class to improve my skills and I feel like my skills took a huge jump in just one class.,  Not only was she helpful in taking the photos, but her online tutorials after the shoot were so helpful.  She explained her process in Lightroom and this had even more impact than the field work. It enhanced the photos greatly!!  I will definitely sign up for this class again or anything Sarah teaches.

Great day in the flowers with likeminded photog friends.  Sarah, the instructor,  is so creative and a master with light.   

Glacier National Park is spectacular/ every where you look is amazing and beautiful.  Be prepared to hike to the best views but lots to see from the Going to the Sun Road

Thank you so much for sharing this with me—it means a lot to hear. I’m so glad the mountains and the trip spoke to you, and I love hearing how your skills and confidence are growing with each workshop. I appreciate your thoughts on Avalanche Lake, and I’ll keep that in mind for future trips—though as you know, weather, group fitness levels, and driving/hotel logistics can make those kinds of plans tricky in Glacier. I wish you could have experienced Many Glacier too—we’ll be visiting that area next year if the mountains are calling you back!  Can’t wait to see you and some of the other Arctic Fox ladies in MN this fall.

I'm terrible at writing reviews, so this isn't to be posted online for others to see - but for Beth to know how much I appreciate the trip. 

This was my favorite trip so far - Mainly because of mountains which are my happy place.  But also because I can feel my photography skills improving over time.   I need to actually look at my pictures to confirm this - but I do :
1) feel more comfortable with my tripod and when/how it can be useful beyond longer exposure.  
2) feel more comfortable with filters - not just ND for longer exposure - but also my CPL helped on a couple shots to break up some of the haze in sky and glare in water 
3) More comfortable with features of new camera (which was pretty similar to old one, but brand new for this trip) 
4) feel a bit better that I am "OK" with composition.  Not everything was great, and I still see others pictures and "why didn't I see it like that" - but this is getting better for me.  

One thing I was thinking as I was driving back to the airport which I wish would have been different - I wish we could have also done the Avalanche Lake hike.   I understand some of the group were not up to it, and weather wasn't totally on our side for everything.  But possibly that Saturday morning, rather than sleeping in/lunch - an option could have been made to keep our luggage in someone else's car to transport to the other side, and those of us who wanted to go on that hike could have gone, and then met up at Lake McDonald when done.    I know I could have done it on my own - as sleeping/lunch wasn't mandatory - I just don't think I fully appreciated that time was running out, and it wasn't going to happen.   

Thanks again - I look forward to MN in a few months - and whatever the future brings - possibly Glacier again, possibly when Many Glacier area opens again :-)

I recently had the chance to attend the Into Iceland We Go 2025 photography workshop with Beth Mancuso, and I genuinely enjoyed every moment of it. The moment we arrived; Beth’s careful planning and expert touch were evident. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between structured shoots and spontaneous moments.  The experience was both inspiring and energizing—from the jaw-dropping Icelandic landscapes to the thrill of capturing wildlife up close.

One of the absolute highlights for me was photographing puffins. Seeing these charismatic little birds up close in their natural habitat was unforgettable. Beth offered helpful insights into wildlife photography while also respecting the natural environment. Her guidance was encouraging, never overwhelming, and always tailored to individual skill levels. Whether you were shooting in auto or fully manual, she met you where you were and helped you push further.  Beth guided us with patience and insight, helping us position ourselves for the best shots without disturbing the puffins. It was a perfect mix of adventure and skill-building.

Beth herself was a fantastic guide—approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate. She offered practical advice, creative challenges, and plenty of encouragement. Whether we were shooting waterfalls, beaches, lupine or puffin colonies perched on sea cliffs, there was always something new to learn. Beth’s passion for photography and for Iceland was contagious. She didn’t just teach us how to take better photos — she helped us connect deeply with the land we were photographing.

The workshop was well-organized, with comfortable accommodations, seamless travel, and a well-paced itinerary that gave us time to shoot, reflect, and connect with fellow creatives.

This wasn’t just a workshop. It was a journey — creatively, personally, and visually. I came home with not just stunning images, but lasting memories and a renewed love for photography. If you're looking for a photography trip that’s equal parts adventure and artistic growth, I’d absolutely recommend this workshop. This was probably the most amazing trip I have ever been on.  Iceland was so incredibly majestic and beautiful at every turn.  The only thing that made it better was that it was a photography workshop.  Beth and Sally were wonderful teachers and helped me learn so much.  I could not have asked for more. 

Lindsey was a terrific leader, full of knowledge on photography and in the Badlands Nat'l Park.  Accommodations were top notch.  Despite the weather not being great, Lindsey always had a "plan B".

The group was fun, friendly and so nice. We were guided to the best locations at the best hours of each day.  The “bunkhouse” was very comfortable.  The food was fantastic.  Highly recommend!

The locations that Beth chooses are beautiful and always appreciate her flexibility when the weather may not cooperate. I loved the B&B when stayed in close to Gold beach as it was homey and had its own waterfall and a treehouse! I'd highly recommend this trip!

This was my first workshop with Into the Wild We Go and it did not disappoint.  The accommodations were great.  Lori was a great leader and teacher.   Charleston was a great city for photography with its architecture, beaches and gardens.  The group of women was supportive and I learned from everyone!!  Can't wait for my next workshop.

I had a great time. The accomadations were wonderful. Despite the weather not being the best, Beth made sure that we still found plenty of opportunities to get some great photographs! The highlights of the trip for me was photographing the birds at the alligator farm and the horses on the beach. If you love photography and travel, I would definitely recommend these workshops.

Into St. Augustine We Go 2025

Another great workshop! The highlight was the morning on the beach with models and horses. Beth does a great job of challenging me to try new things, especially self portraits (what photographer really enjoys being in front of the camera?) I also aways learn a lot from other women in her workshops. It would have been a 5 star review if there had been any "insider access locations" available rather than the typical tourist locations in town.

I had a great time with wonderful people and met all of the photography learning goals I'd set for this trip.

A wonderful experience!  A great selection of subjects and landscapes. Nice accommodations and delightful travel partners. I learned a lot from talented photographers. Thanks. 

Into The Wild West We Go

Adventure and Fun!! This is the 5th workshop that I have taken with Beth, and as always it exceeds my expectations. I have met and stayed friends with so many incredible women through these workshops. We got to stay together in an Airbnb and talk, laugh give each other hints and tips on everything photography related and so much more. Beth is a great mentor/teacher, and it doesn't matter where you are at in your photography when you take her workshops you always learn something new. I learned so many new techniques on this workshop from the night sky's, photographing moving targets and the art of portraits. If you are on the fence about taking a workshop, I say go for it, you will not regret it. 

What a fantastic workshop!! I learned so much and enjoyed everyone on the trip. Jen is a great teacher and made the experience wonderful.

The trip was great. Well organized, many photography opportunities, and time to explore on our own. It was a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to explore new photography techniques.

Into The North Shore We Go 2024

Wonderful trip. Great instruction, loads of places to shoot. The accommodations were amazing. I learned how to shoot the Milky Way - yay! Beautiful part of the country.

I had a great experience. I learned a lot and am excited to keep exploring new opportunities to grow in my photography. Being with a group of like-minded ladies was a lot of fun while trying new things. I’ve never done anything like this and I’m so glad I did. Beth was a great teacher!

Into St. Augustine We Go was an amazing curated photography travel experience thoughtfully designed to promote the pursuit of beautiful landscape photography while encouraging female photographers to find their own unique voice - as are all Into the Wild We Go’s workshops. This was my sixth workshop with Beth and every time I’ve been so thankful for all that she and her workshops bring to my life. Staying in a VRBO on the ocean gave us peaceful waves, beautiful sunsets and the opportunity to get to know each other while allowing for personal down time when needed. The small group size allowed us to quickly develop friendships that had us helping each other with camera settings, sharing family stories and belly laughing that felt so good! 
During my first workshop with Beth, I was worried that “I will be the worst one there – everyone will know more than me” but I quickly learned it isn’t a competition. Her trips are well organized, photography opportunities are fantastic, and technical photography advice is available for all skill levels. I’ve seen Beth adjust her teaching and support based on skill level while letting each one of us know its okay to be where you are on your journey. In the process my own photography has grown and I don’t think it would have happened without my cheerleader, Beth, at my side.
The highlight of the trip (for me) was Butler Beach where a stunning sunrise was made even more magical by horseback riders galloping through the waves. Capturing Roseate Spoonbills was another highlight that allowed me to check off a bucket list item. Downtown St. Augustine, the fort, and so many other locations brought tremendous opportunities to capture beautiful landscapes.
After six workshops with Beth, I’m still not done – I’ll be back for more.

What an amazing workshop!  Sarah was a great instructor.  She has such a passion for the art that makes me want to dive deeper in to my artistic side with my photography as well.  So many great learning points and tips to take away and work on, experiment with and discover!   

This was a fantastic experience! The landscape shots were amazing with storms, rainbows, and even a night of Northern Lights!  Great way to meet other women from around the country that have a passion for photography be it of any skill level.   Top notch guidance and instruction by Beth and Lindsey with a ton of laughs along the way.  I see that Lindsey is leading the next workshop and participants won't be disappointment.  She has such a passion for the Badlands and great sense of adventure.   Her knowledge and instruction of astrophotography sparked my interest to even make me stay up past my bedtime.

This was a fantastic trip even with many cloudy, rainy days! Beth and Sally were great about working with the weather conditions each day! It was a fantastic group of women and I always learn a lot from other participants. I appreciate the sharing of knowledge and the personal attention from the instructors. Iceland provides beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, volcanoes and of course puffins! Can't recommend this trip enough!

This trip was such an adventure! The people of Iceland are friendly and welcoming. The scenery and geological diversity is incredible. The highlight of the trip was seeing the Puffins and Glacier Lagoon. Also there were so many beautiful waterfalls and wildlife to see everywhere we went. 
The women on the trip were so delightful and we all enjoyed each other’s company and genuine friendship. 
The weather was raining for quite a bit of the time we were there but it didn’t stop us from having a great time exploring. and making the best of it!  All the places we stayed were wonderful and the pastries in Iceland are fantastic! 
Thankful to have been able to go on this trip and forge long lasting relationships.. 

Into Iceland We Go: A Trip of a Lifetime!

Booking "Into Iceland We Go" was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Initially, my goal was to enhance my basic photography skills, but this trip offered me so much more. Beth and Sally, our phenomenal instructors, provided unwavering support throughout the journey. Their intuition and insight in attending to each participant's needs were remarkable, ensuring everyone received just the right amount of guidance.

Beth and Sally were incredibly generous with their knowledge, readily sharing invaluable tips and tricks. Their discussions on composition and techniques were both educational and inspiring, helping us capture the best photos possible. Beyond the technical aspects, their infectious enthusiasm and sense of humor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. We shared countless laughs and jokes, both during our photo shoots and in our downtime.

The camaraderie we built during the trip was truly special. Our group has stayed connected, continuing to share our photos and offering support to one another long after the trip concluded. This journey was more than just a photography workshop; it was an unforgettable adventure that forged lasting friendships and enriched our lives in countless ways.

This trip was well organized. I enjoyed the places we were taken to for the photography aspect, as well as the guest houses and restaurants. A lot of ground was covered under conditions that were not always easy. Clearly, a lot of time had been spent on planning and sequencing. 

Beth and Sally knew the technical information needed to photograph the subjects and locations. They were encouraging, fun, and super helpful. I learned and relearned specific skills; what a fabulous place to put them into practice! They were always available for questions, reviews, and advice. It was nice to have them engage in photographing the same subjects so we could see them in action. 

I struggled with allergy-related issues around food. I'm not sure there was anything to do about that except possibly scheduling more grocery store trips.

I learned more about myself than I learned about photography. That's not a slight on what I learned about photography, but more a comment on the power of this trip to improve my confidence in myself. It's only natural to assume everyone on the trip who is not you is a professional grade photographer. As it happens, everyone on the trip has different skills of course, but they also have a unique vision for approaching photography and are supportive and ready to share knowledge. You will learn that not everyone is the same kind of a photographer. You will learn that what works for one person won't work for you. You will also learn that given the same material, everyone will produce a different result. There's a freedom in finally understanding that wherever you are at in your journey as a photographer, that's ok. It took going on this trip for me to really see that. I now realize that where I thought I needed to be with my photos to consider myself a "real photographer" is just some lie social media told me. If you like taking photos and you like how they look, that's real enough. Going on this trip will give you more than just some stunning photos for your portfolio. It will also give you friends, memories, skills, and growth both as a photographer and a person. There are also delicious yogurt and pastries, but that's just gravy.

This trip was absolutely amazing!!! Beth is an outstanding teacher and her assistant instructor Sally is world class. Both went out of their way to make everyone felt comfortable on their own personal photography journey. This is my second workshop with Into the Wild We Go and it won’t be my last. Beth & Sally made sure we saw an awesome array of classic and unique Icelandic sites and then made sure we captured the images we wanted that mirrored our photography vision. And the highlight for me…We saw puffins! With fish in their mouths!!!🎤 🇮🇸🤩💥

I had an amazing time.   While I'm no where near an expert, photography is my happy place, and I was in heaven on this trip despite less than ideal weather.  

It was so nice to be with like minded women, who encourage and support each other with the common goal of enjoying the adventure  of photographing such gorgeous places.  

I had the trip and experience of a lifetime!  Traveling to Iceland with this group was beyond amazing!  It checked all the boxes for me:  a great group of women to learn and laugh with, an abundance of beautiful vistas to practice photography and learn new techniques, and amazing food options and comfortable accommodations in several parts of southern Iceland!  Give yourself a gift and enjoy a new land and experiences! 

I had a wonderful time on my trip to the Badlands of South Dakota.  I learned new techniques and gained some great friends from across the country.  I loved the life experience each person brought to the adventure as well as our host.  Beth is such a great teacher!  She was patient, encouraging and fun! I had looked forward to this trip with her for a YEAR!  It was totally worth it and would like to join her for some of her other workshops!  10 Stars from this Wyoming gal!   Thank you Beth!
