This was my second Into the Wild We Go workshop and my first with Beth and Sally. I've been to Iceland before, so I knew the location was perfect - but everything about this trip was amazing. The itinerary was well planned and took us to so many beautiful locations - including the guest houses where we stayed. The trip provided a variety of different subjects to shoot - waterfalls, glaciers, horses, puffins.... there was never a dull moment. Beth and Sally always made sure we had our gear set up for our best shots - and even showed me functions on my camera I didn't know I had. As an unexpected (and unplanned) bonus, Sally helped several of us that had trouble with our equipment - including fixing my lens that fell into the sand on Diamond Beach. I would recommend any of these workshops to women who have any interest in photography - whether experienced or just learning. I'm now trying to decide which workshop is next for me!

This was my second trip with Beth. The first to the Oregon Coast and this one to Iceland. What great experiences. Meeting a group of lovely ladies was nice. But it was fabulous meeting these ladies surrounded by beautiful landscapes all while learning about photography and my camera. I learned so much. Beth and Sally are incredibly knowledgeable and patient working with all of us at our different levels. I can’t wait for my next trip.

This was a wonderful and unique experience. Leaders were so very personable, and competently lead our diverse group to a variety of natural wonders in Iceland. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you

My third trip with IWWG and a great time was had by all! This is quite different from other IWWG workshops I previously attended as the focus was more on wildlife than landscape. This fits better with my own interests and accordingly, I had the time of my life. Several ladies on the trip would not have considered themselves "birders" but they also found the excitement in seeing so many species in abundance against the beautiful, mountainy background of Utah (and they may have left converted). Amy was a great coach and cheerleader for all of us, and very accessible for help with shooting and editing. There are so many special moments on this trip, including seeing the majestic bison (not buffalo!!!) running across the hilly terrain, silently watching the sun go down over mirrored skies while avocets roamed freely on rosy shallows, and the excitement of undiscovered burrowing owls away from the high-traffic areas. Great Salt Lake is a special place that is likely to face unique climate challenges going forward - see it while you can! Take the photos for posterity.
