This was a wonderful trip. Danielle is an excellent teacher, giving advice when needed in photography, technique, editing and equipment. She throughly prepared us before the trip with detailed information on what we would be doing each part of the trip and what we should bring with us. The Zoom sessions were an extension of what we had learned on site. This is a highly recommended trip.
Be prepared for some hiking in Ricketts Glen. The waterfall terrain is steep in many places, but accessible and was noted in the trip description.

This was a very well-planned trip with lots of opportunities for one-on-one instruction. I learned so much about shooting water that I did not know. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the area and what we were doing. The accommodations were just perfect. We got lucky with the weather being good for what we were doing. I also learned a lot during our editing sessions, so I was glad that was included.

Danielle made everyone feel comfortable with her excellent pre-planning information and documentation as well as her welcoming personality and organizational skills during the workshop. The Vista Lodge was the perfect place to stay with roomy "tiny house" accomodations that were a pleasure to come "home" to after a long day's hike. Though the Ricketts Glen trail was steep and somewhat difficult, I always felt assured to go at my own pace and be safe. Plenty of time was given at each waterfall to be sure we got all of the angles and compositions we wanted. Driving around the countryside to see other non-waterfall photographic scenes was a nice balance. Overall it was a very enjoyable trip with friendly and talented people, beautiful scenery, and abundant chances to make good photographs.

The trees and surroundings put on an epic show. The lodging was over the top, and the camaraderie with the other workshop participants was meaningful. It is such a treat to be immersed with like-minded people who understand the compulsion to chase just one or two or ten more photos of the exact same thing. Rinse, repeat. Refreshing long dormant skills and learning new ones with a patient instructor was appreciated.
